10 TLC Commandments

1. We believe in...Spending quality time daily in God's Word, in prayer, in the presence of the Lord...and listening to the Lord. Waiting upon the Lord (Isaiah 40:31) for they that wait, receives (Jer 33:3). Call upon him and listen for goals and directions, etc. We must be unternally motivated otherwise, we will be outwardly manipulated...

2. We believe we should...Operate by Faith...(Psalm 127:1) "Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders larbor in vain." (Prov. 3:5&6). "Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding."

3. We believe we should...Hace a sevant's heart (James 4:6-7). We have to daily humble ourselves before the Lord, then resist the devil and he will flee. We must have a servant's attitiude. We need to honor each other and ask "How can I serve you?" Humility is an attitiude expressed through love and service (1 Peter 5:5). God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Develop a servant's attitude by honoring others.

4. We believe that we should...Never comprimise God's word. Be prepared to be persecuted women leading a ministry, etc!) by those who would have you compromise the word. Never make a decision unless EVERYONE is in agreement..(We have done this...and what a mess!) No matter how impossible it may seem, just remember that God's word is like a hammer...smashing your hardest rock into many pieces. (Jer 23:29)

5. We believe in...Making plans for recreation weekly. (Hobbies) it is the secret to perpetual youth!

6. We believe we should...Stay in the attitude of forgiveness (EHP 4:32) - forgive self, with each other and ask the Lord. "Lord, help me to forgive those who will hurt me today; even before they do." You want your prayers answered...when you pray (Mark 11:24-26)

7. We believe...Never go into debt. Tithe everything (Maiachi 3:8-10); money, food, clothes, etc. We want a ministy with the excellence of a well run business. When people begin counting the hours and watching their clocks to go off duty...its time for them to look for another job.

8. We believe..."Anything is possible if a person believes" (Mark 9:23). If it is in the Lord's plan - "Ask and you shall receive."

9. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, & self-control. Against these things, there is no law."

10. My prayer each day for the "Tender Loving Care" Complex, Inc: "Just remember, with GOD, all things are possible!"
