Mission Statement
The 'Tender Loving Care' Complex, Inc. dba The TLC Christian Children's Home is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit founded as a voluntary placement children's home to allow children of families with large sibling groups; to remain TOGETHER when the unfortunate situation arises that causes the children to be separated from their parents. We house children in our network of TLC substitute homes, birth to maturity, offering them the opportunity to come to us for the love and nurturing they so greatly need and deserve.

Our goal is to reunite them with their families, find a loving, caring, permanent TLC Substitute Home or provide a temporary loving environment at the TLC Complex in Cape Coral, Florida. Included in our program are classes to teach their parents how to cope with their situations and show them how to love their families as a whole through our God.

The TLC Complex is a four bedroom home in Cape Coral, FL. The house is used for emergency transitional housing when children first enter into the program. Within a short period of time the children are placed in permanent homes; TLC substitute homes, back with their families, or adopted. The Complex includes the children's home, the Garden of Hope which featured a new barn in mid 2008. TLC has been serving children since 1998 and in April, 2008 we celebrated the arrival of our 100th child. "Tender loving Care" counts on volunteers and people like you to assist with day to day operations and the many required renovations and future projects.

Funding is provided solely through "Fun" Raisers, Donations and Grants.

To arrange a visit to our facility, please call (239) 542-4800 to schedule an appointment.

The "Tender Loving Care" Complex, Inc., is accredited by the Florida Association of Christian Child Caring Agencies, Inc., Lake City, FL. The State of Florida Department of Children and Families recognizes the TLC Children's Home as safe and qualified.

TLC TAKES IN ITS SHARE OF KIDS THAT HAVE BEEN ABUSED IN ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. HOWEVER, NOT ALL OF OUR KIDS HAVE HAD THAT SERIOUS OF A PROBLEM. BUT WHILE BEING HOMELESS IS BAD ENOUGH, ITS SAD TO THINK THAT AN ABUSED CHILD WOULD ACTUALLY BE BETTER OFF WITHOUT PARENTS OR A HOME. IF YOU KNOW OF A CHILD THAT'S BEING ABUSED, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
